Psalm 131

A (1) YAHWEH, my heart is not haughty,
nor mine eyes lofty:
neither do I exercise myself in great matters,
or in things too high for me.

B (2) Surely I have behaved and quieted myself,
AS A CHILD THAT IS WEANED of his mother:

B1 (2) my soul is even AS A WEANED CHILD.

A1 (3) Let Israel hope in YAHWEH from henceforth and for ever.

B (5) I wait FOR YAHWEH, my soul doth wait,

C (5) and in his word DO I HOPE.

D (6) My soul waiteth for the Lord MORE THAN THEY THAT WATCH FOR THE MORNING:

D1 (6) I say, MORE THAN THEY THAT WATCH FOR THE MORNING.

C1 (7) Let Israel HOPE

B1 (7) IN YAHWEH: for with YAHWEH there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

A1 (8) And he shall redeem Israel FROM ALL HIS INIQUITIES.

Psalm 126:1-4

A (1) When Yahweh TURNED AGAIN the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

B (2) Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, Yahweh HATH DONE GREAT THINGS for them.

B1 (3) Yahweh HATH DONE GREAT THINGS for us; whereof we are glad.

A1 (4) TURN AGAIN our captivity, O Yahweh, as the streams in the south.

Psalm 124:6-8

A (6) Blessed be YAHWEH, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

B (7) Our soul IS ESCAPED

C (7) as a bird OUT OF THE SNARE of the fowlers:

C1 (7) THE SNARE is broken,

B1 (7) and WE ARE ESCAPED.

A1 (8) Our help is in the name OF YAHWEH, who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 122

C’. (5) For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

B’.(6) Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. (7) Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. (8) For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

A’.(9) Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

Psalm 113

A. 1 Praise ye the LORD.

B. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD,
praise the name of the LORD.

from this time forth and for evermore
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same
the LORD’s name is to be praised.

C. 4 The LORD is high above all nations,
and his glory above the heavens.

D. 5 Who is like unto the LORD our God,
who dwelleth on high,

C’. 6 Who humbleth himself to behold
the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

B’. 7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,
and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8 That he may set him with princes,
even with the princes of his people.
9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house,
and to be a joyful mother of children.

A’. Praise ye the LORD.

Psalm 109:2-6

A (2) For the mouth OF THE WICKED <07563> and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

C (4) For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.

B1 (5) And they have rewarded me evil for good, and HATRED for my love.

A1 (6) Set thou A WICKED MAN <07563> over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

B (22) And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare HIS WORKS <04639> with rejoicing.

C (23) They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

Psalm 103

A.  (Bless YHWH)

a. (1) Bless the LORD, O my soul:

b. and all that is within me, {bless] his holy name.

a’.(2) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

i. (3) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
ii. who healeth all thy diseases;
iii.(4) Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
iv. who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
v. (5) Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;
so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

B.(6)  The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
(7) He made known his ways unto Moses,
his acts unto the children of Israel.

C.(8) The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy (chesed).

D.(9) He will not always chide:
neither will he keep his anger for ever.
(10) He hath not dealt with us after our sins;
nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

E.(11) For as the heaven is high above the earth,
so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

F.(12) As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

E’.(13) Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

D’.(14) For he knoweth our frame;
he remembereth that we are dust.
(15) As for man, his days are as grass:
as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
(16) For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone;
and the place thereof shall know it no more.

C’.(17) But the mercy(chesed) of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,

B;’. and his righteousness unto children’s children;
(18) To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
(19) The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens;
and his kingdom ruleth over all.

A. (Bless YHWH)

a. (20) Bless the LORD, ye his angels,
that excel in strength,
that do his commandments,
hearkening unto the voice of his word.

a’. (21) Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts;
ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

b. (22) Bless the LORD, all his works  in all places of his dominion:

b’.  bless the LORD, O my soul.

Psalm 106:16-23; 34-40

Psalm 106: 16-23:

A (16) They envied MOSES also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of Yahweh.

B (17, 18) THE EARTH <0776> opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

C (19) THEY MADE <06213> a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

D (20) Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

C1 (21) They forgat God their saviour, WHICH HAD DONE <06213>  great things in Egypt;

B1 (22) Wondrous works in THE LAND <0776> of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

A1 (23) Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not MOSES his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Psalm 106:34-40:

A (34) They did not destroy THE NATIONS <05971>,

B (34) concerning whom YAHWEH commanded them:

C (35) But were mingled among the heathen, and learned THEIR WORKS.

D (36) And they served THEIR IDOLS: which were a snare unto them.

E (37) Yea, THEY SACRIFICED

F (37) THEIR SONS AND THEIR DAUGHTERS unto devils,

G (38) And shed innocent blood,

F1 (38) even the blood OF THEIR SONS AND OF THEIR DAUGHTERS,

E1 (38) whom THEY SACRIFICED

D1 (38) UNTO THE IDOLS of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

C1 (39) Thus were they defiled with THEIR OWN WORKS, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

B1 (40) Therefore was the wrath of YAHWEH kindled

A1 (40) against HIS PEOPLE <05971>, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
