Malachi 2:5-8

A (5) My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.

B (6) The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

C (7) For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of Yahweh of hosts.

B1 (8) But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law;

A1 (8) ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith Yahweh of hosts.

Malachi 2:10-14

A (10) Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

B (11) Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of Yahweh which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

C (12) Yahweh will cut off the man that doeth this,

D (12) the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto Yahweh of hosts.

C1 (13) And this have ye done again, covering the altar of Yahweh with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

B1 (14) Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because Yahweh hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously:

A1 (14) yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Malachi 4:5,6

A (5) Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Yahweh:

B (6) And he shall turn the heart of the fathers

C (6) to the children,

C1 (6) and the heart of the children

B1 (6) to their fathers,

A1 (6) lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Malachi 1:14-2:5

A (14) But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith Yahweh of hosts, and my name is dreadful <03372> among the heathen.

B (1) And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

C (2) If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith Yahweh of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

D (3) Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces <06440>,

D1 (3) even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

C1 (4) And ye shall know that I have sent

B1 (4) this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

A1 (5) My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared <03372> me, and was afraid before my name.

Malachi 1:8-11

A (8) And if ye offer <05066> the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer <05066> the lame and sick, is it not evil?

B (8) offer <07126> it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased <07521> with thee,

C (8) or accept <05375> thy person <06440>? saith Yahweh of hosts.

D (9) And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us:

C1 (9) this hath been by your means: will he regard <05375> your persons <06440>? saith Yahweh of hosts.

B1 (10) Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith Yahweh of hosts, neither will I accept <07521> an offering at your hand.

A1 (11) For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered <05066> unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith Yahweh of hosts.
