PROVERBS 18:22-19:2

A (22) Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of Yahweh.

B (23) The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly.

C (24) A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

B1 (1) Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

A1 (2) Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.

Proverbs 15:28-16:5

A (28) The heart of the righteous studieth to answer:

B (28) but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

C (29) Yahweh is far from the wicked:
but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

D (30) The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart:
and a good report maketh the bones fat.

E (31,32) The ear that heareth the reproof of life
abideth among the wise.
He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul:
but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding<03820>.

F(33) The fear of Yahweh is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility.

E’ (1) The preparations of the heart <03820> in man,
and the answer of the tongue, is from Yahweh.

D’ (2,3) All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes;
but the Yahweh weigheth the spirits.
Commit thy works unto Yahweh,
and thy thoughts shall be established.

C’ (4) Yahweh hath made all things for himself:
yea, even the wicked

B’ (4) for the day of evil.

A’ (5) Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Proverbs 9:8-12

PROVERBS 9:8-12

A (8) Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

B (9) Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser:

C (9) teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

D (10) The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

C1 (11) For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

B1 (12) If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself:

A1 (12) but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
