  1. Thanks for this, plenty to ponder.
    Two points that really struck me with Daniel, firstly each chapter leads with a King – The Kingdom of men. The exception is the last chapter ‘…at that time shall Michael stand up,…’ They are of course human divisions, but they do highlight the contrast.
    The second point Mark O’Grady noted in a recent Bible Class on Daniel. The beginning and end of the book are written in Hebrew, (Dan 1 – 2:3, and Dan 8 to end). Within the middle Aramaic bit the ‘centre point’ is chp 4:37
    ‘…I Nebuchadnezzer praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth and his ways judgement; and those that walk in pride he is able to abase’.
    A great one to remember as our discipleship is on the verge of another year.

  2. Thank you for posting this MOST helpful chiasm structure on Daniel 3. I’ve been reading MANY resources on chiasm and Daniel in general, this post was KEY. Thank you for sharing!
