Note: This section of Zechariah is challenging for everyone. Here is a proposal for the structure of chs 9 and 10 going into 11:1-3. The theme is judgment against the nations surrounding Israel and deliverance for Zion by the coming of the King. The centre is the rebuke of the false teachers. This matches the centre of the structure of chs 12-14 which is the cleansing of the land from false teachers.
