2 Corinthians 5:17-21

from Joe Mullen

A v17 Therefore if any man be IN CHRIST, he is a new creature:

B old things are passed away; behold, all things are BECOME (Gk ginomai) new.

C v18 And all things are of God, who hath RECONCILED us to himself by Jesus Christ,

D and hath given to us the ministry of RECONCILIATION;

E v19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them;

D’ and hath committed unto us the word of RECONCILIATION.

C’ v20 now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye RECONCILED to God.

B’ v21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be MADE (Gk ginomai) the righteousness of God

A’ IN HIM.

One thought on “2 Corinthians 5:17-21”

  1. Based on an idea from my father:
    e: (19)To wit, that GOD WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the world unto himself,

    d: not imputing their TRESPASSES unto them;

    c: and hath committed unto us the word of RECONCILIATION.

    b: (20)Now then we are ambassadors FOR CHRIST,

    A: as though God did beseech you by us:

    b: we pray you IN CHRIST’S STEAD,

    c: be ye RECONCILED to God.

    d: (21)For he hath made him to be SIN for us, who knew no SIN;

    e: that we might be made the righteousness of GOD IN HIM.
