A (Title – 3) A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and HE DEPARTED <03212>. I will bless Yahweh at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in Yahweh: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt his name together.
B (4-6) I SOUGHT <01875> Yahweh, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
C (7) The angel of Yahweh encampeth round about THEM THAT FEAR him, and delivereth them.
D (8) O taste and see that Yahweh is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
C′ (9) O FEAR Yahweh, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
B′ (10) The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but THEY THAT SEEK <01875> Yahweh shall not want any good thing.
A′ (11) COME <03212>, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.
