Psalm 107:5-9; 21-24; 32-36

PSALM 107:5-9:

A (5) HUNGRY and thirsty,

B (5) THEIR SOUL fainted in them.

C (6) Then they cried UNTO YAHWEH in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

D (7) And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

C1 (8) Oh that men would praise YAHWEH for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

B1 (9) For he satisfieth the longing SOUL, and filleth THE …  SOUL

A1 (9) HUNGRY … with goodness.

Note “hungry” comes after “soul” in Hebrew in v. 9.

PSALM 107:21-24:

A (21) Oh that men would praise Yahweh for his goodness, and for HIS WONDERFUL WORKS <06381> to the children of men!

B (22) And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare HIS WORKS <04639> with rejoicing.

C (23) They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

B1 (24) These see THE WORKS <04639> of Yahweh,

A1 (24) and HIS WONDERS <06381> in the deep.

PSALM 107:32-36:

A (32) Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in THE ASSEMBLY <04186> of the elders.

B (33) HE TURNETH rivers INTO A WILDERNESS, and THE WATERSPRINGS <04325> <04161> into dry ground;

C (34) A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

B1 (35) HE TURNETH THE WILDERNESS into a standing WATER <04325>, and dry ground INTO WATERSPRINGS <04325> <04161>.

A1 (36) And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city FOR HABITATION <04186>;
