A.(23) And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money,
B. every male among the men of Abraham’s house;
C. and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
D.(24) And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
D’.(25) And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
C’.(26) In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.
B’.(27) And all the men of his house,
A’. born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.

I noticed this one too. Any idea why it would centre on their ages, though?
Any movement at all on this? I’m new to this and noticed something similar but included verses 17:22 and 18:1 as the ends (…God went up from Abraham and .,…the Lord appeared to him). Would the center still be the ages of those verses were included? I don’t know how to find the middle or even interpret it from there.
