A (141) I am small and despised: yet DO NOT I FORGET thy precepts.

B (142) Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is THE TRUTH.

C (143) Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet THY COMMANDMENTS are my delights.

D (144) The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I SHALL LIVE <02421>.

E (145-147)  KOPH. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Yahweh: I will keep thy statutes. I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies. I PREVENTED the dawning of the morning, and cried:

F (147) I hoped in thy word.

E¹ (148) Mine eyes PREVENT the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

D¹ (149) Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O Yahweh, QUICKEN <02421> me according to thy judgment.

C¹ (150, 151) They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law. Thou art near, O Yahweh; and all THY COMMANDMENTS

B¹ (151,152) are TRUTH. Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

A¹ (153) RESH. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I DO NOT FORGET thy law.
