D′ (10) For WITH THE HEART

I originally posted a chiasm for Romans 10:9,10 as follows:
A (9) That if THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH the Lord Jesus,
B (9) and SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead,
C (9) thou shalt be saved.
B1 (10) For WITH THE HEART man BELIEVETH unto righteousness;
C1 (10) and WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE unto salvation.
However, confession/mouth can be separated. Also, as Mark points out in his comment on Romans 10:9-13, believe/heart can be separated. Not sure how I missed these when I did the original post; “slow” and “blind” come to mind! I’ve googled this and it seems to be a well-known chiasm. Anyway, rather than put up a new blog I’ve edited the original.
Bailey has the following for 8-10
A.8 … That is the word of faith which we preach
B 9 That if THOU SHALT CONFESS
C WITH THY MOUTH
D the Lord Jesus,
E and SHALT BELIEVE
F IN THINE HEART
G that God hath raised him from the dead,
G’ thou shalt be saved.
F’9 For WITH THE HEART
E’ man BELIEVETH
D’ unto righteousness;
C’ and WITH THE MOUTH
B′10 CONFESSION IS MADE
A’ unto salvation.
In Romans 10:9-10, that structure can be extended, from verse 8 to 13, encompassing that citations in verses 12-13 (one citation refers to “believing”, which is an act of the “heart”; the other citation refers to “calling”, which is an act of the mouth). See below.

Chiastic structure in Romans 10:8-13:
But what does it say? “The word is near you;
A — it is in your mouth – vs. 8
B — and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim”
C — If you declare – vs. 9
D — with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
E — … and believe
F — in your heart that God raised Him from the dead
G — You will be saved
F’ — For it is with your heart – vs. 10
E’ — that you believe and are justified,
D’ — … and it is with your mouth
C’ — that you profess your faith and are saved.
B’ (belief, from the heart) — As Scripture says, “Anyone who *believes in him* will never be put to shame.” – vs. 11
A’ (calling, from the mouth) — “For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile —the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who *call on him*, for, “Everyone who *calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.*” – vs. 12-13
